oh sweet little buffalo!  how you charm me!  such sweet, simple drawings – obviously created with love.  the messages are concise and to the point and the colors are a little off-beat – but in a happy way.

oh baby!

there are lots of different creations made by mylittlebuffalo – including single cards, note card sets, personalized cards,  artwork, invitations and business/calling cards.  many of which can be personalized or customized to your liking.

here's my card

all cards are printed on eco-friendly stock (naturally) & arrive with a coordinating envelope.  and guess what?  lil miss buffalo is diving into the letterpress!  be on the look out for more amazing paper yums.

let's party!

for buyers:  cards are sold in sets of 6 – two sizes available:  A2 and cute mini’s.  Contact lisaanner (at) gmail (dot) com for more details and any custom requests you have for your shop.

for shoppers:  if you’re in the market for some pure adorableness – check out the etsy shop to see all the goodies.  darling artwork for kids room or kitchens – and if you don’t have your own calling card – perhaps these are the inspiration you need!  price range:  $2 – $25!

i am jonsin’ to open a stationery store.  i’m having a love affair with paper products right now.  i’m especially fond of modern, colorful, eco-friendly design with retro patterns.  and voila!  i find SusyJack Contemporary Paper.  Her designs are clean, modern and stylish.  and she’s come up with some clever new product types.

i really dig the Ringlet Jotter.  how very cool to jot down your coolest thoughts, the funny things your kids say, your wish list, a love note.

these would be fun to display as well – with the little ring on them you could hang them on push pins – or maybe even a hanger!  they retail for only $6 – so a great recession item for any store.

the calendar she created for 2009 was pretty dreamy (and sold out).  here’s a sneak peak of the 2010 (which will be shown at the National Stationery Show in May):

i went into the sweetest, tiniest shop the other day called Special.   Everything is handmade by the owner, Heather (jewelry and hair accessories).  She had a lovely display idea:  wrapping paper!  she wrapped tin cans, boxes, bottles – whatever shapes she needed to create her displays.  it made the whole store look cohesive and charming.  this would be a very easy way to update your look as well.  some of my favorite wrapping papers are whimsypress,  pikku, waste not paper, and vigo.  the inspiration is overwhelming!  (i am a paper fiend).  have any tips for great paper?

** for those who want some instruction – here’s a great post from Apartment Therapy to help (cute planters too!)

Oh how i love Etsy!  it’s like shopping with the most creative souls in the world.  I’ll be sleuthing out various items that you could potentially sell or use at your store.

For example – check out these custom earring cards from Pixel by Pixel .  What a great way to give your displays a cohesive look and help brand either your store or your own jewelry line.  And the fun doesn’t stop there – they also do apparel tags, necklace & bracelet cards, business cards – loads of great paper products to help you brand your store/wares.  The design is modern, chic and fun.
