With my due date fast approaching, I am going  ga-ga over baby stuff again.  i saw some pieces from darling designer, Claesen, and knew i must build my color story around the charming and irresistible polka-dot romper (which is also amazingly soft!).

I envisioned a day at the park for a mama and her baby – looking stylish, comfy and appropriate (with the possible exception of the shoes – which are too cute to pass up).  The primary colors of the story include navy, hot pink, white, with punches of vibrant yellow.  Classic and Fun!

do you like your colors bright and your patterns wild?  i do.  and that goes double for babies.  they’re such cute patoots – i like to see them dressed in bold attire that matches the attention they already get.  it’s their first opportunity (and certainly not the last) to be a baby star.

i adore my son like i could never, ever, EVER imagine.  he’s the funniest, most charming little lovebug i’ve had the pleasure to meet in my life.  it’s only when i see dresses as cute as Mette that i yearn for a little girl.  my goodness – they are so fun, bold and bright!  they are the very essence of summer fun embodied in a dress.  fresh, modern and totally cool – i kinda wish i could wear one!

Planet Pudge is the result of an over-caffeinated, creative-deprived mom in search of fun, unique, modern clothes for her two little girls. Sick of the same old mass-produced stuff, she started fanatically drawing, cutting, obsessing over fabrics and hand-stitching everything (much to the dismay of her calloused middle finger).

 i rather like originality for my own son – and i imagine these would sell quite well in a kids store (or section).  what a darling gift!  the owner, Holly, is willing to work with boutiques to create custom designs.  it doesn’t get anymore original than that!
