when i owned ooma, i would get dozens of calls, lookbooks, and emails a day from designers wanting to sell their wares.  sometimes, designers would approach me at the store while i was working.  i hated that.  i always felt like i was being put on the spot.  i’m sure every store has a favored way of accepting submissions from designers.  and i like the idea of adding that information on your website.  catbird in new york does a wonderful job of explaining exactly how a designer should approach the buyer (see the contact section).

what ideas do you have to express your preferred methods?
